Cholografin® Meglumine is a contrast agent for intravenous cholangiography and cholecystography. Iodipamide's primary excretion through the hepato-biliary system and concentration in bile allows visualization of the gallbladder and biliary ducts.

Cystografin® (USP30% or Cystografin®-Dilute USP 18%) is a radiopaque contrast agent for retrograde cystourethrography. Cystografin® is not intended for intravascular injection.

E-Z-EM, Inc. is headquartered in New York and develops, manufactures and markets diagnostic imaging products.
The business of E-Z-EM encompasses CT imaging, virtual colonoscopy, gastro devices and accessories, and healthcare decontaminants. E-Z-EM is also a third-party contract manufacturer of contrast media. The company provides contract manufacturing services in various product areas, including pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics, as well as the marketing of radiological medical devices, such as entry biopsy needles and mammography wipes and related accessories.
Bracco Diagnostics, Inc. , the US-based subsidiary of Bracco Imaging S.p.A. and part of the Bracco Group, announced in Oct. 2007 that it has entered into a merger agreement to acquire E-Z-EM, Inc. (NASDAQ: EZEM) for a total consideration of about $ 240 million . Upon completion of the procedure and subject to the approval of the regulatory authorities, Bracco Diagnostics Inc. will incorporate E-Z-EM.

Gastrografin® is a water-soluble iodinated radiopaque contrast agent for x-ray examinations of the esophagus, stomach, proximal small intestine, colon and is also used for bowel visualization in abdominal computer tomograms.
The high opacification and delineation after oral or rectal administration is caused by a low absorption of the intact gastrointestinal tract. However, visualization of the distal small bowel is generally unsatisfactory, since the hypertonicity of the medium causes intraluminal diffusion of water with subsequent dilution.

Isovue® is a nonionic contrast agent with a wide range of iodine concentrations.
Isovue-370 with its highest concentration of contrast approved for CT is an excellent agent to match the speed and power of multi-detector row CT (MDCT). Prefilled syringes provide easy and efficient contrast media handling. Isovue-M® is indicated for CT myelography.
